Since the thread has gone this direction, let me bet clear about what I mean about the preservation of iconic American automobiles and trucks. My wife's 1968 Coupe De Ville and my brother's 1966 Bronco.

I say go for it! drop it put a 2wd front under it. Then sell me the parts so I can keep mine on and off the road! If a 2wd suits your needs better and you want to have something different It' one wa to go, Personaly I'd just go find me a ranchero. As for concerns about changing it back, just buy another 4wd chassis and move the body onto it. I don't feel that customizing a vehichal to suit you tastes and needs should come with so much negative criticism. To each his own, deal with it!

Alrighty Slayer i won't argue anymore, you have made your point i have made mine i understand what your saying so i won't go on.

Those 2 are great looking vehicles grey i like the bronco more than the caddy but i like me a good boat. I haven't driven either so i don't know how comfortable they are but their pretty nice.

To be different or to be more different than anyone else.....GET A LIFE...The bronco is built on the F150 frame...drop the TTB then replace with Twin I Beams...Same frame mounts...Ya..no ****....ITs been done at the factory

You will only get THIS informal warning from me this one time: Please watch your language. And anyway, you're arguing/ranting in a thread that has been inactive for more than a year.

If I had a Bronco, it would stay 4wd, unless I was making a Lightning Bronco.

There ya go. Ever think making a 104" wb F-series into a street/strip racer was a bad idea? Neither did I. Frame vehicle, stiff body...every modification in the world has been tried or marketed...cheap and easy to make fast... Plenty of excuse for a 2wd bronco!
