I have a 95 f-150 w/ the 4.9 six. For a couple days after it rains, my belt squeaks at idle at low rpm's. As soon as I start moving, the squeak goes away. I've had my belt tensioner replaced 3 times (in the last 40,000 miles!!!) and the belt isn't squeaking like the tensioner is bad, but it's damn annoying. I live in Maryland, and it rains just enough that the belt squeaks damn near all the time. Does anyone know what I can do about this? The truck only has 81,000 miles on it, but the squeak is driving me CRAZY!!!

 

Tried replacing the belt?
