Bed Swap 63 Non-Match To 64-66 Styleside

I am looking at swapping my no-match 63 bed to a matching 64-66 bed. Has anyone done this or have any advise? Thanks in advance.

What wheel base? Long bed or short bed?

Long bed poses a wheelbase issue, 122" for 63 and 129" for 64 66 on 2 wheel drives.

You can relocate the rear axle to accommodate the wheelbase.

Short beds for 64 are the same 114" as 61 63 and 115" for 65 66
