I have read alot of post on the S10 t5. Is there any issues on the ford mustang t-5 which i Believe is a tremec other that the shift location?I have a chance to pic one up for 50.00$ i believe the input shaft is smaller than the stock 3 speed.Any input would be helpful. Thanks

I haven't put one behind a flathead, but I have messed around with them in Mustangs with 5.0's.
It is my understanding you can move the shifter location to the S10 position by swapping parts if you want to retain the bench seat.
Input shaft is longer so you need the adapter between the trans and bellhousing. For simplicity I'd get the one that retains the stock clutch release lever - plus I hate hydraulic clutches.
Input shaft smaller - just use the Mustang clutch disk.
For the pilot bearing, I had a machine shop turn an adapter for the flywheel so I could use a stock bearing for the trans input application.
That's how I'd tackle the swap. For $50 you can't go wrong. Have fun with it.
