what is this?

ok..talk about **** luck....putting head back in truck and broke off a sensor of sorts.....its on the drivers side head nearest the radiator....it has a round three prong connector......can I run my truck with out it? it connects to the injector/gp harness

ICP sensor. Injector control pressure sensor that reads the oil pressure supplied to the injectors. Can run without it but should be replaced for optimum performance. Seen a few on Ebay.

Sounds like the ICP like Brooks said. It will run in default mode "assuming" the voltage if it's unplugged, but you should get a new one.

I got one off of Ebay for $85 shipped a few months ago. Just make sure you get the right part number and get the actual Motorcraft brand.
