From what I've heard you use 8 oz on the initial fill and then 4 oz thereafter. Yes this additive is expensive, and it why I spend $100 to get Ford inductive flash that resolved my injector stiction problem.

Actually the inductive heat flash keeps the oil in the injectors warm to reduce the effects of oil latching. It's the oil side of these injectors that causes the stiction problems.

I would say it doesn't thin you oil based on the appearance when pouring it and with 8 oz in a 18 quart oil system will not affect the oils viscosity.

I'm assuming you added Marvel mystery oil do to injector stiction? If so, do you have Fords latest flash with inductive heating?

lastest flash ? not sure but i got one a few years ago for the injectors and it did help allot but here lately Ive been having some lite missing on start up , but also little hard start after hot and sitting for a while ( if just a few Min's starts right back up if not stumbles a little )
I did notice with thinner oil its way worse.
and ya Marvel mystery oil is what i put in today
also notice that once in a while it hesitates to shift and then when it finial does i get a white puff of smoke then it clears up. like i said doesn't do it all the time .

If you know you have the inductive heating flash and still have a miss at cold start up then you should try the Rev X.

I dont know if I have the inductive heating flash or not, I just know they reflashed everything when I bought the vehicle. I dont have a miss, I have a bad fuel mileage problem myself, I was just asking for my own curiosity, if it was something a flash that was real recent I would call the dealer to get it done.

There is a new flash that monitors the difference in temp from EOT and ECT for I think 05 and newer. That would be a very good flash to get.

Agreed... It will turn on the "wrench" light on the dashboard when the temp differential is greating than 15*F and possibly preventing a EGR cooler damage or worse a head gasket failure if serviced immediately.

Did anyone see the remote oil filter setup he has on the truck in the video? I saw a couple of other videos of this truck when I went to watch. There is one that shows a remote oil filter plumbed from the oil filter cap, to the remote filter, then draining back into the oil fill cap? Anyone notice this, or have any comments on it? I was just curious what others thought of that setup.
