new 73-79 gas tanks

Category: Engine - Intake/Fuel
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): Prelude
Item Condition: WI
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped
Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

Two brand-spanking new aft gas tanks that would not fit in my Highboy and won't fit in yours, but will fit in a truck with the wider frame-rails.

One is a plastic 19 gallon, acquired from JBG this summer. Picture here:

One is 38 gallon steel tank with Dennis Carpenter sender unit extended and installed. Pick-up tube sits right where it should - tight - in the little dimple. I have at least $250 and a lot of time in that tank. Not rubberized or anything, but that's up to you. Hate to see it go, but I'm not planning on buying a new truck to put it in.

Neither has the filler tube and neither has had gas in them. Will take any reasonable offer, but we'll have to work out shipping ahead of time, which figures to be a little pricey according to the UPS store... Maybe USPS would be a little cheaper.

Where are you at in Wisconsin, I will be passing through January 4 & 5 all the way up to the Wild Rose, Oshkosh, and Nekoosa areas. Do you have any of the mounting hardware?

Madison: I've got some mounting straps - I think for the top.

Plastic one is on its way to 2506deer. Oversized steel tank with the perfect sender is still waiting for someone's interest in my garage.

I'm interested, what would you have to have out of it? Are you needing any parts? I might be interested in some sort of trade too. I have quite a bunch of parts for these trucks. Where are you located? Send me a PM.

38 gallon is sold

78 PEB got a steal on the last extra gas tank, so I'm closed for business.
