Hey guys, I got an odd little problem with my 5.4L. Its not necessarily a problem but it isn't right.

When I floor it, my truck is not very impressive... in fact its utterly disapointing. If I give it 80-90% throttle she breaks the rears loose and i occaisionally get the second gear chirp.

I've cleaned my MAF, last I tested the TPS and it read within spec, and the truck still acts all funny like that. Plugs are new as well, air filter is good too...

Any ideas? Could this just me my TPS taking a digger but still appearing good like coils do?

 

Sounds like the built in torque management. A programmer should fix the problem.

 

Any good recommendations? I thought the same thing except this problem was never as noticeable. On a positive note I raced an 08 5.4L over the christmas time and dusted it
