Welcome. I too am rather new here, I've been lurking around for a few months but haven't started posting too much until recently. I must say though, this forum is great. They diagnose problems that even my mechanic can't figure out (probably need a new mechanic, but still, lots of friendly helpful people here).

Welcome to fte! Just stick around here and you will learn more about your powerstroke than you care to lol. alot of us have spent alot of money making out trucks better because of this site. Also saved alot by not taking it to shops because of the great guys here.
Just some advice when replying to something Glenn (oldbird) said make sure you type real big to make it easier for him to read. He's old and we have to help out the elders of the forum.

Yes, welcome to fte. Good idea on spraying the road salt off!! I got back from a round trip of 300 miles a week or so ago and first place I stopped in town was the carwash to wash off the outside and underside of the truck. Mine sits for long periods of time in the winter and sure don't want that crap sitting on it and eating it away..

Welcome to the fray! This is a great bunch of guys with an enormous collective knowledge base out the OBS trucks. And yes, we really like pictures! Check out the putting faces to names thread too. Kinda surprising to me how young a lot of the guys on here are.
There may not be a stupid questions, but I'm sure we can come up with some stupid answers!!!
