Suggests and comments solicited for FE 390 build

I'm rebuilding the FE 390 for my F100. Here's what we're looking at:

1. FE 390 bored .60 over (DT3E casting - mirror 105)
2. C8AE-H heads, fresh build with hard seats
3. RV cam with new lifter
4. Edel Performer 390 intake
5. Autolite 4100
6. Complete new master rebuild kit.

I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thanks.

Sounds like a good basic build, I would use the Edlebrock alum heads if the budget allows and probably the Scat stroker crank as well. Pick up the book Building FE engines by Barry Rabotnik of Survival Motorsports, he's the FE guru. Also check with FordFE.Com, lots of good info over there. FE's Forever!!!!!

It's only for good stock build and performance. I'm not looking to dump a ton of cash in it.
