installing limited slip or locker rear?

Im getting a 98 f150 4x4 and im guessing that its an 8.8 open rear end.
Has anyone installed an aftermarket limited slip or locker system in these trucks? im looking for the best system for severe snow and decent for the highways and the odd offroading trip. any suggestions or price estimate would be great.
thanks

If the truck has a 4.6 motor it's an 8.8 rear. If it's got a 5.4,it will be a 9.75 rear.
Eaton makes one of the best L/S diffs in my opinion. I run one in my truck and I drag race it some. They run in the 500 to 600 range.

You might be able to save some money if you do that and put it in yourself.
