Wow! What a difference new speakers can make!
My original speakers were beginning to add their own sounds to the music, mostly a loud flapping sound on bass notes.
I just installed 4 new JVC speakers that Crutchfield was selling off at a huge discount. The installation was easy and the results are amazing.
The only difficulty was that they sent the wrong wiring adapters. They do not have specs for F-450s in there database and the F-350 adapters they sent did not fit my factory connectors. No real problem, I just cut and soldered the wires.

BTW, I just looked at your signature and wonder; got some pics of your rig?
I have a 1999 F-550 crew cab 4x4 with a Truckstell box on it and use it to pull my 2004 Cedar Creek 36 RLTS.
Here it is sitting in the parking lot at Ellenburg, WA. Loves truck stop where we always stop for a meal at the Subway before continuing onward.

Best/easiest thing I've found is to open a free account at PHOTOBUCKET. Make an album for your truck (since you'll probably put pictures of family, dogs, whatever up there) and upload the picture from your computer to that album. (there are nice buttons on the webpage to walk you through that).
Once the picture is uploaded there, click on it so it's the only picture showing on that page. You'll then see a bunch of "links" listed, probably to the right of the actual picture. For posting on FTE, I click on the one labelled "IMG", copy everything in that little section, and then just copy that in to a new reply to the thread.
When you're writing your reply, all you'll see is text. Once you post it though, the picture will show.

Thank you for the compliments.
Dan, that is mighty good looking rig you have.
Wayne, you are correct. That photo was taken this last September near Gunnison, Colorado. My wife, my son, and I spent a week riding dirt bikes from the Taylor Park campground. Lots of fantastic trails and incredible scenery.
