Windstar Heater hoses

Hello all, I know there are a few windstar users in here so hopefully I can get some help. My problem is on my moms 96 windstar 3.8L the heater hose on the driver side that connects to the manifold just above where the upper raditar connects to the themostat housing broke just where the metal end peice thingy connects to the quick disconnect. I have purchased a new quick disconnect but it looks like its made for a regular hose and hose clamp. Can I simply cut the metal end off the hose and clamp it to the quick disconnect (to me the factory hose looks to big for the end of the bib but I could be wrong), or do I need to replace that section of hose with new but that certain hose goes back to the firewall to a tee that branches off to the aux heater and to the front heater coil. Where the hose connects to the tee can that be disconnected or is that pressed on as it is not simply clamped on. All the replacement hoses that I can find online seem to be pre-mold and are labeled as pipe-4 to tee-1, or aux to tee-2, and the hoses just seem like pre molded hoses with no special ends like the factory but I guess I would use those plastic hose coupling and tees and hose clamps where needed?

If anyone that can give some advice or has experience with this please post. I thanks anyone in advance for any help that they can give.
