Spare tire?

I just came to thinking today about my truck. Did it come with a spare tire? Where would it be mounted? I have a 1965 F100 Flareside custom cab.

My 66 Styleside was under the rear, mounting was gone when I got the truck. My sons 66 is still under the truck. Some of the flaresides had mounts on the side, with a indent in the rear fender, passenger side.

Hmm no indent on the rear fenders and no mount what so ever under the truck. Thought something was missing, lol.

If don't have the indented driver's side fender then suggest taking a salvage run for an under bed spare tire rack. Had to do same with 65 flareside and only took a few minutes. Make sure to include the 2 long bolts that as part of the package.

Spares were optional....typically under the rear of bed on Stylesides and inside up front on the left usually on the Flaresides...some are on the inside, some are on the outside..depends on the year of the truck as well as what the customer wanted on it on sale day.
