wing windows

I will be keeping the wing windows in my rebuild of 50 F1 and am wondering if anyone has built billet aluminum wing window frames and seperator bars(if that is what they are called). My wing windows are rusted to death and need to be replaced. I will tackel making some out of stainless steel if I have to but it is a LOT of work. I searched but did not find anything on this site.(That may just point to ineptitude or a serious case of search deprivation). any suggestions?

I've never seen any home made of aftermarket substitutes for the wing frames. And I would agree I think it's going to be alot of work to make them.

The aftermarket anti rattle kits come with a stainless seperator bar though.

Original equipment wing frames are getting hard to find as well. I'd bet Ilya (51 PanelMan) has some he will sell you!

Duuuhhhhhh

I found them on mid 50's. I guess if I called them a vent and did a search they will come up just like that POP! cost $60 a pair!
I feel really dumb Thanks Julie!

Marty, any chance you could post a link to those vent frames, I've searched & am missing them? I need both for my 52. Thanks

Odd, I see Vent window frames for 53-55, but not 48-52 - and not for $60 a pair either - more like $140-160 each. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Or are you talking about the window divider?

I have what you're looking for and since a change in project direction I no longer need these, I'm doing a one-piece window (no vents).

If you search for the part# you'll find they sell for $125. +shipping.

These are from Obsolete Ford and still in the original packaging, unopened. (Made in the USA, thank God)

I have my old vent window frames as well if you need them too.

PM me or speak up here and let's make a deal!
