Question for SCT X3 owners

Hello, everyone praises what the tuner does for the auto trans but I have a 5sp manual in mine just wondering if I will get my moneys worth out of the tuner or do most guys buy it to get the transmission to perform better??? I do pull heavy loads from time to time and shifting down to fourth gear is quite a jump, it would be nice if it would pull a little harder in 5th gear. (99 F-350 4x4 5spd v-10 3.73's)

Having read many of the praises of Mike's tuning here in these forums I have no doubt it could help. Many of the guys say being able to pull hills faster withless downshifts in the autos, stands to reason if they are getting more horsepower and torque to do it in an automatic you too will have it in a manual. I just wish the torque increases were posted as well as horsepower....

Honestly even though its a manual correcting the stock fueling strategies and spark strategies is the way theses V10s are making more torque and hp. So a manual would def. benefit as well.

I observe the changes it made more in my engine than the shift points...
I LOVE what the X3 did for my truck... buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Ok thanks guys maybe after christmas I can get some money togather and give Mike a call. I would still like to hear from some of you with manual transmisions with a tuner and how it helps in high gear at highway speeds with a load. thanks.

I would pay the $'s for a good datalogger, never mind the tunes, and the X3 is great at it when paired with a laptop.

With the scanning abilities of it as a datalogger and DTC scanner for basically any OBD-II Ford, and on top of that tunes made by Mike, I can't think of one reason I wouldn't get it.

The other thing I haven't used it for yet is analog data capture, say from a wide-band O2 sensor or some other analog signal. But soon...
