Hi from Memphis
Hey guys, just sayin hi.
New to the forums and glad to see so many people from west TN area
I live in Raliegh/Bartlett area and own an 87 F250 (which is under restoration atm) 351w with a c6 tranny Holley 2bbl carb but planning a full rebuild in the spring. I love the site and am very impressed with all the knowledge and information here, seems like a great group of guys. I'll post pics as soon as I get some updated ones. Anyways, tahnks for a great site.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I will be making alot of posts on what I'm doing to my 250 as well as asking alot of questions on stuff I don't know. I am also a BIG fan of pics and love posting them as to the work I'll be doing.
Thanks again for a great welcome and yes I would be good for a West TN meet.

When Greywolf was the TN chapter leader he tried several times to get a local GTG. I think he (or at least someone) had to "eat" a lot of hamburgers after a meet was planned and didn't get visited. Hopefully it will happen, but it at least needs to be "BYOBurger". And this when we've had a few local cruise nights, one that's right here in Bartlett every Thursday night at the Bartlett Centre. It probably won't get much traffic until next spring now, but the few I got to go to this summer had a lot of car/people - even a couple of nice Ford trucks. I think there is a least 10 Memphis area members that come by from time to time. I would like to put a face with the posts, but I work a lot of weekends (3rd shift at that).
Good "seeing" Memphis250. At least we can chat!

You can start by having a GTG at an event that was already planned live the cruise night.
You can pick up new chapter members that way pretty easy. Then get them to join and 'voila you have an instant west coast meet. And you guys can keep in touch here and have many GTG's.
Just a few thoughts. Good luck.
