Lots of guys buy f450's or f550's and put a bed on them. Big Ol pickup with no fuss.
Unless you want an older truck. I knew a guy who used to buy old city trucks which were 4 door cabs. He liked f 600's. He'd buy new pickup clip and mount it on the truck, and put low profile truck tires on it with fender flares and a pickup bed. Course that was the 70's vintage trucks, but it didn't look bad at all

 

Problem is they probably aren't rated for very high GCW. Well I'm talking something pre emissions.
