Your not gonna hear it like you probably want until you get an upgraded exhaust.

Surely you didnt buy the 6637 kit with the thought that it alone would make your turbo wistle and your turbo scream.

Get a 3" Downpipe and a straight pipe exhaust and you will hear the turbo.

call tymar. It's the easiest way to decide. Just let him tell you what you need. Mine sounds like a deuce and a half now.

FWIW, I bought the tymar 3-4 inch, some 4" straight pipe, 4" 45*elbow all for about 225 bucks. Got the straight pipe and elbow from summit on sale. Exits in front of the rear tire. Full exhaust will cost you quite a bit more but some don't like exiting in front of the tire, it is louder in the cab and makes a mess on some trucks rear wheel and side of truck. (mine I haven't noticed any soot on my wheel, just a little on the lower fender.

That WILL make your turbo scream.

I didn't notice anything with just my 6637 installed. It's when you free up the exhaust when you really hear it.

I bought the Tymar 3-4 downpipe (stainless, why not? You only buy it once) and it went in great. Good quality.

My turbo screams at 1500 rpm. Sounds nice.

Darin, my rims are black powdercoated, so I don't have to worry about that. I noticed the truck/turbo were a bit more responsive with the 6637, but it wasn't until I opened the exhaust more that the turbo started to sing. I just got some 4" mandrel bent exhaust off a school bus and fabbed it up myself. Cost $10. A year later, I finally got a new downpipe.
