Happy Thanksgiving

Drove the awesome 6.7L in my first snow storm last night and serious ice today. Amazing to learn how all the traction systems work together. Traction control is pretty impressive but takes all the fun away. I was somewhat worried about how the Toyo's would perform but so far so good. They bite really well and slowed me down in a heavy breaking situation without problem on an icy freeway.

Oh yeah. Spent 3 hours in 12 degrees F today. We're having swan with the turkey tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving to all. We have a lot more to be grateful for than just our trucks.

You and yours have a good one yourself Epic. The Toyo's do great,I had mine down in the mud at deer camp and they pull really well.

I would like to also say Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here at FTE. Epic, is that really a swan and what did you shoot it with? Front forearm looks like a Browning A5.

Nice Sawn. Not allowed to shoot them in Ohio. Wish I could. We have plenty. I am having a couple of real nice mallards from last week to go with turkey I shot this spring.

It's my crappy old Remington 870 and I used 3 inch BB shot. I can drop that gun in the swamp and not worry about it. Today is not only brought down the swan but also broke through the ice on the way back to the truck. The Bear River Refuge is a world-class waterfowl habitat only 45 min. from my home. It was a beautiful day.

By the way, I was aiming at the lead bird when I got this yearling two birds back. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

I had a similar experience with my truck last night in the snow and ice.

I towed a lady and her car that had broken down outside my house home last night. Was able to drag my trailer out of the snow and tow her car to her friend's house and drive back in total confidence as this thing handled bad weather with a trailer in a really amazing way.

Had I been any lighter I would have gotten stuck turning around the loaded trailer at her friend's house. Another reminder that we all truly have a lot to be thankful for.
