I was always under the impression the 53-55's were different than the 56's as the seat track mount is angled down to clear the gas tank in a 56.
If they are the same ( I will look tomorrow) I have a complete set up. PM me your email and I will send you price and pics. Or send me an email bigwin56f100@yahoo.com
Later, Kevin

Just an update: Number Dummy you are a wealth of info here....... but......This time hands on rules the roost.
If you are going to find an USED set from a 53-55, they will not fit because they do not have the modification for the gas tank. IF 53-55's were the same as a 56 the part number wouldnt have changed to show the update in 56 with a 56 part#
Now the 56 part # will fit in a 53-55 as there never was a gas tank in cab and 53-55's dont care about the update.
I have the correct seat tracks from a 56 if you are interested.

BACAGRIZZ......I looked and want to keep all the sets I have for future trucks. I have 2 seats with tracks from 56 and a set of tracks from a separate 56only with no seat.
Sure as I sell these off.....I will build more trucks. Bill
OK, thanks anyway, If I can't find some then I will build brackets that permanently mount the seat in one position but that will prevent my girlfriend from driving my truck. I am 6'2" and she is 5'4".
BIGWIN,
I have sent you an email.
