1995 Ford fuel problems
My 1995 Ford F 150 truck idles fine but when you accelerate , or push the gas pedal down past halfway it starts cutting out. If you keep the pedal below half way down it runs great. I talked to a mechanic on line and he said it was the maf sensor. But I don't thing it has a sensor. I think it has air flow bypass valve, or thats all I see attached to the throttle body. I have installed a new fuel filter, but it didn't help. Does any one know what might be causing the problem. The engine is a 5.8 litre. It also has a double air intake attached to the throttle body?

I am not an expert...I had a similar problem, if you have access to a code reader have the codes read. Could be an EGR Problem. I'm not sure. This may sound lame when was the last time you changed the air filter....IMO if you are running a K&N Filter get rid of it.
Just a thought. Hope that helps.

I have a 1995 Ford f150 single cab xlt I just replace fuel pump and tank for the front tank and the fuel pump won't kick on or prime I also replace the switch that switch's between the tanks and check all replays and fuses I also check the impact sensor that cuts fuel off if u get into a reck, and checked for continuity all the way down to the pump everything checks out so I'm stumped, anyone have any ideas?
