Will these fit on stock 18 rims

I just bought a set of 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grappler's. I have seen pics of these on are trucks. I just got the tires in today after ordering them yesterday. I havent had a chance to get them put on yet but I noticed it said recommended rim size is 8-9". Arent the stock 18 fx4 rims 7.5? Should I have a problem or be worried? Thanks guys I know I should have looked more into it but after seeing a bunch of pictures with people having these I didnt think about it.

No those will be fine. The tires I have are 11.22" wide and the ones you got are 11.77" wide you will not have any issues with the 295/70 terras. They are a nice tire you will love them. those tires are approved for rims ranging from 7.5 to 10".

Ya I love the looks of them. Im on the fire department and we have them on are 2009 F-250. They are a little smaller than what I got but are nice. Im almost positive the sticker says approved for 8-9 inch wide rims but everywhere else I see is 7.5-10 which is weird cause the sticker says different.

Check out the Nitto website that is where I pull my information from. The sticker is putting the more common size on it most likely but the Nitto site states 7.5-10.

I was wondering myself if I could get these 295/70's on my 17" stock rims. I just came across this and might have to decide if I want to support the economy some. They are not the 295 like I was wanting though...

I don't think I have seen anyone with the Nittos in the 295's on stock rims around here but a few people do have 295's on stock rims. Anyway the next time I change tires I will be putting this size on the truck whether I change rims or not.

ooooo... now I'm thinking maybe these are what i should be getting for my truck (going to see if there's enough life left in the original tires to make it thru this coming winter). had been wanting to go with some BFG AT KO's but these Nittos look like a promising alternative...

hrmmm... food for thought... hrmmm.....

Well I got them installed last night. I love these tires. They are so quiet but look really nice. They do rub a little at full turn but I cant tell what they are rubbing on. I have pictures on my phone I will have to try and upload.

Yes, please post some pics.
These are the same tires I want to put on my stock rims.

Do you have 3.73 gears?
Did you notice any power loss?
How bad?

Thanks

I will try to get them up tonight but my internet is kinda slow. I do have 3.73 gears. If I lost any power it was a little bit. I got a programmer so it still pretty quick. I mean no race truck but it still moves. I have not got on the truck alot since I have put the tires on to see if there is a big difference. I will try to get on it tomorrow and see how the truck moves.
