Build Week Question

Build Week Question
Just called the dealer and got my VIN. He said that the vehicle is scheduled to be built "the next build week", which I am assuming to be next week (assuming they are following a calendar year format). Running the VIN for the window sticker (thank you for that link), I cannot pull up a window sticker.
Based on the comments on the window sticker thread, I should be able to pull the sticker the Friday before the build week -- that should be today. Did any of you encounter difficulties getting the window sticker prior to the actual build week?

It only gets worse when the truck is stuck in a rail yard for 4 days! Worst part for me was the rail yard was only 30 minutes from the dealer. My wife was very surprised that I didn't take a ride up to the rail yard Sunday morning after I found out it was indeed sitting there waiting to be unloaded!

I have noticed the Ford site is reasonable buggy and not that reliable. For example the build page was broken all night last night.
Yesterday I pulled up my sticker for the first time. Later in the day I would get errors trying to pull up a window sticker using any VIN. Then later it was working again. I am not sure when my build date is. However, I just asked for my VIN yesterday, and pulled it up yesterday. Scheduled delivery is the week of the 22nd.
Not sure if my sticker was available sooner?

One other thing. Their sites and process is kind-of unsecure as well.
Once you have a VIN you can actually register the VIN on FLMOWNER.com. It is cool in a way that you can register before the truck has been built ( I assume mine has not been built) or before you have technically taken delivery. For everyone who is obsessed before arrival it gives you something else to fiddle with and have all ready to go once it arrives.
Because ford.com, flmowner.com and syncmyride.com seem to use an identity management solution. Once you register on flmowner.com, you also can also sign into syncmyride.com. Your vehicle / VIN will show up there as well. You also and then map your sync to your phone at that point. Note: if you register at one or the other first. It seems to take about 10/12 hrs for the systems to propagate your login.
In a way you cannot blame Ford. They are not really publicly sharing the VIN, except for on dealer websites and lots. However, if someone wanted to do something malicious or just cause a hassle. They could go register a bunch of VINs under their name or an alias creating a hassle for the true owner once deliver is taken.
It really is not a super big deal really. It could be tightened up for sure to prevent a potential hassle for owners.
