Just purchased a 1966 F100, the wipers would not turn off unless i turned the key to the off position. I thought the switch was bad so through the forums found replacement switch and installed. Wipers still wont turn off even with new switch. Is it possible the problem is in the ignition switch? The wiper motor is single speed so its basically just a on or off switch, but there are 5 terminals on back of switch.

 

Howie, We just had a discussion here a couple weeks back on wiper motor parking, use the search feature, you should find it.

Your problem is not in the ign. switch, I believe Bill ND said that parking was controlled in the motor itself.
