POS 1996 FORD F250

hello i have a 1996 ford f250 that has pretty much stumped me.

it has a 5.8l v8, e405 trans, and its 2wd

heres the story...

i bought this truck a few months back and the guy said had a new motor and trans in it. rest of the truck has 240,000 miles. it would occasionally stall when i put it in gear or the idle would drop low and almost stall but it would come back up. other than that it ran fine. well one day i went and replaced all of the spark plugs and spark plug wires and it just started running like sheet. would be idling then would stumble then go back up. i would have to have my foot on the gas and brake to keep running at stop lights. it would run fantastic once on the gas and would miss at all when i stomped on it.

so i replaced my intake manifold gasket upper and lower, fuel injectors, set ingition timing at 10 degress and it seemed to help it idle a little better but it is still some what there. although it still stalles when put in gear. its only when put in drive never happend in reverse.
have tried to even switch tanks and no change. compression check reads 150 psi in all cylinders...

someone please help

heres all the new parts i have put on.

3 different brand spark plugs
3 different brand spark plug wires
2 different brand rotors/ caps
fuel filter
intake gasket upper and lower
fuel injectors
throttle position sensor

the firing order is correct, i know it sounds funny but i checked it soo many times just to make sure but they are all in the right place.

Or the Throttle Position Sensor in out of calibration?

The routing of the spark plug wires on this engine is critical. IIRC there was a TSB put out about it.

Spark Plug Wire Routing

TSB is written for earlier model trucks but also applies to your 1996
