us gear dual range

I just installed a c6 tranny with a us gear dual range behind it in a 56 f100 with a 460 an ford 9 in. Anyone know how to wire the overdrive unit and how much gear oil does it take. Tranny and o/d unit from a 93 f250.

Gary,

The US gear dual range is obsolete. I think i may still have the wiring diagram saved I will try to find it. But Be warned that if you need parts for that setup you are out of luck. I have ruined two of them and both times been left on the side of the road.

Yes I know the company is out of business and nothing is available. The unit was on the tranny when I bought it. I would really appreciate any info and diagrams you have, let me know. THANKS GARY

Yes I need the wiring diagram for the hole unit. Colored wires from the Thumb control switch where do they go? Control module has five wires going to where (also color). Two sensors on the back of the unit what wires go on them. Also there are two small nuts looks like a side panel on the right side does anything go on these? This request might sound stupid but i cannot get any info any where i have looked obviously not the right place. Any thing you can give me I will thank forever. Gary

us gear

ok i know that i have the manual but if i cant find it i will copy down the wire colors for you mines in a chevy motorhome but i am pretty sure they are all wired the same also be sure that when you shift it that you let upn the gas like you were shifting and old 2 speed rear axle as it does not like to shift like the gearvendors as in under power
