133,818 on a Mazda B2300 that I picked up on 2-20-06 with only 120,240 miles on it but it did not run. So 1 cluch and a timing belt, waterpump, windsheld and new tires and I drive it 80 to 100 miles a day who knew I would be going back to school now at 31 but it is fun now. Well it gets better MPG then my diesel f250 4X4. I like the truck hope it will go to 200k+ Still not bad for a one dollar ride.
Hey Barnie, I'm thinking he put an extra 0 on the end of that haha. That would come out to be 207,777.8 miles per year. Although that many miles on the ol 2.3 wouldn't suprise me.

I knew that the 2.3s were tuff little engines!
As you point out, that would only be about 23.72 miles per hour. The trick would be that it's 24hrs/day, 365days/year, for 9 years! Maybe he was re-fueled in flight!
My 94 Ranger just turns 177k this month...running strong like when it was @ 66k! on second timing belt and water pump. Just also got this month the '95 F 150, 5spd, with legendary 4.9Lstraight 6,only 95k...
It purrs like kitty... the ranger will be the work truck with more miles to go...
I don't think 2.3 will ever quit running, it is marvel from Ford so as 4.9.
