Hello all,

I bought my EX a while back already lifted with a fabtech 4" lift. I want to go a little bit higher, how do you go about lifting an already lifted truck? do i need to remove the old lift and add a taller lift kit? Or can i add to the existing lift? Sorry if this is a newbie question.

 

I would add to your kit existing kit. You could go with a front hanger kit. They range from 1" to 4.5" kits. And for the rear you just add a bigger block.

 

I guess it depends how much you want to spend also. Adding to it will be cheaper hut not as good. You might be able to sell your old kit also to help pay for the new one. Lifting is usually combined with bigger tires. Bigger tires usually lead to regearing.
