early heads work

Early heads 24 bolt water feeds into center of head,will they work on later model 24 bolt water at end of head? They look pretty close.Found some nice offy alumunims

Yes, but if you lay an early head gasket on your later block, you will see a water passage near the front that will need to be tapped and a flush plug screwed in. One time I helped a fella replace his head gaskets. The package (Napa) surprisingly contained one late/one early gasket. You know what happened when he started it to check for leaks...yep, he found one.

Check those (used?) heads carefully, not unusual for there to be stripped plug threads and corrosion.

Water moves OUT the center of the head - the rest you need is what 1952 said. Hope they polish up nice.

Just be careful of corrosion with used aluminum.
