Starting small isn't a bad idea. I jumped into this project and it's easy to get overwhelmed.

I made some more progress today. Laid on some seam sealer and bed liner

I finally got the cab home and have the firewall mostly stripped. Gonna paint that and then get it on the frame so I had to order some supplies

The truck is going to be painted ford royal blue.

I'm starting to get excited, once the cab is on the frame I'll be able to get a lot done that I've been waiting on.

Looking good. You mentioned something that a lot of people don't realize when they start a complete redo. It is easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged. I don't put timelines on my truck stuff and I view each sub-part as its own project. For example, the axle is a project, the frame is a project, the cab, etc.

Small update for you guys

The box is sitting outside on some pallets
Still not sure if it's worth messing with. Very solid but it's beat all to hell.

I worked on the brake lines a little last night until I ripped the threads out of my flaring tool but I'm pretty motivated to work on the thing since the cab is on. Just bummed out about the bed, I jumped on buying it because it was solid but it needs a lot of help.
