Hi Guys
Here our build update for the 52Fiper
Hope you like our mods
Ben and Mika
Custom build winged tailgate with hidden tool storage we called it the
"52Fiper TOOLGATE "
When open normally works just like a regular tailgate
when hidden latches released outer tailgate part opens and shows tool selection.
(this is just a foam template original will be made of Wild Cherry wood)
Inside of the down part now functions as workbench
Like to hear your opinions ( you can also see our 2.5" dual exhaust in the bed rails)
Cheers Ben and Mika Verduin
More pictures and build you can see at

Hi guys , of course the heat of the exhaust was also our first thought and concern. Inside the 3" there is an 2.5 exhaust, the space between is open to forced air when driving over the entire length of the bedrail. If that will still make the bedrail too hot we have a second solution but we have all the trust it will be OK It will get a little warm but not hot. Ben

Latest update 1952 Ford F1 "52Fiper"
We have the brakes all ready to go , all looks nice and clean.
Finally Good brake pedal pressure ( after two flushes we still found still air ?? )
Next step is to work on the body and get the metal all welded and formed so it can be ready for primer.
We are going to use our classic european tool instead of bondo ( ofcourse only were its needed , its a old lead spray tool ( see picture) We use the eastwood lead "free" lead but that does not mean we are using it with very good ventilation and protectection.
We also have some great never been done Paint ideas... Keep you posted
