Who make the best down pipe for a 95'

I was gonna just wait until a found an up grade truck of my dreams a F350/250 Crew Cab Long bed, but to no avail yet. So, in the mean time I am thinking for going a with up grades to get rid of the pancake down pipe and factory air filter/housing. Who makes the best for 95'...I would like to use the existing remainder of my system as I seemed to have lost my muffler some where......

x2 on what Mike said. A lot of people say that a Tymar dp is the best but is a little more costly. I'll be getting a Diamond Eye here pretty soon. I like it being two piece and able to bolt up to the stock cat. Oh what a gutless cat but technically it is there...

how much of a difference have you guys seen as a result of the down pipe? My goals are mainly for some increased power of course, but I would like to see just how much of an improvement I can make with economy. Like everyone else... I want the best of both worlds.

Better throttle response, lower egts, and more noise! But honestly if you have seen a stock obs down pipe an aftermarket one is a night and day difference.

My stock DP.

The stock one next to the Banks setup I originally used. No way is the stock DP gonna flow like a 3" round pipe.

Here's the bottom half of my aFe DP (3.5-4"), which is currently mated to the top half of the Banks DP (3"). I really don't see a need to replace the top half, just because it's a Banks pipe. It does work. The rest is 4" aFe straight pipe all the way. No muff or kitty. If you're gonna replace the DP, just get a complete exhaust kit.

Here's the back end. aFe 4-5" stainless tip.

Nice set up! Im running a 3 1/2 down pipe tight fit but dumps into an adapter and its free flowing all the way to my 5in stack in the bed as a temp exhaust till I can buy a 5in kit from the dp back behind the tire

Thanks Rolsmojave. I did that because almost two years ago now I shredded a D rated AT on the passenger rear. It bent the crap outta the mudflap and tore off the little rubber hangy thingy. BFG wouldn't honor the warranty but Discount made good by discounting me a new set of E's. BFG sent me the tire back (without telling me) so I figured I'd cut it up and replace the rubber hangies with tire scraps. Every time someone asks me what the story is I tell them. Thumbs down for BFG, up for DT.

Good luck w/ the Diamond Eye. I've heard of install probs with the pipe that goes over the axle and getting the tip to exit in the right place.

I only got the downpipe. The truck came with stacks, I'm still deciding if they stay or go.

how tight is the difference between a 3" and 3.5" pipe. Is there room in the stock set up on OBS for a 3.5"?

I've been told a 3.5 is a pain in the rear to get in. I got a 3inch on top and goes to 4 on bottom with a 4 straight pipe exiting in front of the rear tire. Got mine from tymar and love it. Ya it cost a little more but I've heard stories on the mbrp ones that are cheap, lots have had issues with fitting.

The first DP I ever got was from Hypermax, I think they were the only ones that had one 10 - 12 years ago.
I hear Tymar is a nice pipe the way it's necked up in size as it flows.
I have not had luck with Diamond Eye or MBRP, so I only use Grand Rock stuff. GR costs a little more but it's made in the USA . Pipe is made and bent here. Not like DE, MBRP, and others.
