Get Google Maps driving directions sent to your car with SYNC – all at no extra cost
The latest addition to the ever-expanding Ford Service Delivery Network (SDN), "Send to SYNC" lets Ford, Lincoln and Mercury owners with SYNC® Traffic, Directions and Information receive destinations sent from Google Maps’ popular online mapping service. When users visit Google Maps to find locations, they will have the option to send a selected destination to their vehicle via a "send" menu. The SDN calculates the optimal route using the latest traffic information, then downloads the route to the vehicle. Easy to use and voice-controlled, Send to SYNC will help eliminate the waste and distraction of paper maps when it launches later this month, and will be available as an upgrade for existing 2010-11 models with SYNC TDI. more…
