Celebrate Morse Code Day with New Super Duty Strobes
April 27th is Morse Code Day. It’s a day the world celebrates the creation of the messaging system that uses tones, lights, or clicks to transmit a message. The beauty of this language is that to a skilled listener, no translation is needed. The person just needs to know the Morse Code alphabet.
Ford is tying in Morse Code Day with a new available feature of the Ford Super Duty. Factory-installed LED strobe lights are now available for the 2016 Super Duty.
Even though they can’t be set up to display Morse Code, they are bright enough to be seen 1000 feet during the day, or up to 1 mile during the night. They are typically used to warn other people of caution nearby or that workers might be present.
Having them installed straight from Ford means the integration will be perfect, and there is no worry about corrosion or leaking. They are configured to work with the factory auxiliary switches that come with the Super Duty.

They have a MSRP of $700 and come with a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty.
We’re fans of offering them from the factory. It’s one less thing for a fleet manager to worry about.
