THROWBACK THURSDAY Ford Trucks Lead Everything in 1992
This 1992 Ford truck commercial was made specifically for the Ohio market, but the content of the commercial is impressive on a national level.
The seller is asking $3,000 for it and that’s definitely a deal. The seller even has a few extras that they might work into the price of the truck.
Since Ford isn’t going to build a new Bronco any time soon, if you want one, you have to buy one of the originals. If you want to get a truly original Bronco, you have to pick up one of the first-generation models. Luckily, two of them will be for sale at Dana Mecum’s 28th Original Spring Classic 2015 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
It’s easy to get caught up in the truck wars that are currently going on. Ford’s F-450 makes 860 lb-ft of torque, so Ram had to one-up them by offering a truck with 865 lb-ft. Both of those trucks are capable of pulling 30,000 pounds or more (if you have a CDL). It’s hard to believe how much has changed.
This week’s Tire Smokin’ video is an unusual one, as it is actually two videos spliced together, flipping back and forth between an F-150 that is said to be turbocharged and an E-250 work van.
