17FordRaptor_11_HR 640yellowWhat color is this Raptor? Blue and black or gold and gray? Depending on your eye sight it may appear blue and black to some and gold and gray to others. How crazy is that?

This truck is definitely blue and black ….or is it? If you haven’t been on the Internet in the past 24 hours you may have caught a similar post featuring a black and blue dress with a majority of people saying that they saw gold and white.

Wired has an interesting post that explains how our eyes and brains see color in sunlight here.

“Light enters the eye through the lens—different wavelengths corresponding to different colors. The light hits the retina in the back of the eye where pigments fire up neural connections to the visual cortex, the part of the brain that processes those signals into an image …Without you having to worry about it, your brain figures out what color light is bouncing off the thing your eyes are looking at…” says Wired.
