Amazing Grace

Velocity Restorations of Pensacola, Florida might be one of many American specialty shops who have capitalized on the Ford Bronco revival craze, but few have done it better. The vehicle’s “retro-revival” has been spurned not only because of the vehicle’s stylish vintage look but also in anticipation of the model’s rebirth, to hit American markets sometime in 2020. While Bronco fans nationwide await a modern buckaroo, this 1974 Baby “Brittany Blue” Ford Bronco that’s as easy on the eyes as it is tough on the road.

Back in Black

One look at this Brittany Blue ’74 Bronco and it’s easy to see how the vehicle has become a cult-favorite among collectors and off-road connoisseurs alike. Velocity’s top-notch team has restored this model with a modern twist thanks to the addition of black fender flares and matching, blacked-out pacer wheels that are as powerful as they are posh.

Sittin' Pretty

Thanks to their well-worn past on off-road trails, farms, and other roads, the interiors of classic Ford Bronco’s are often swapped out for seats better suited to modern drivers and passengers. But that’s not the case here. To maintain the vehicle’s vintage appeal, the original seats in this ’74 model were reconditioned to restore their original style, feel and color.

Excellent Exterior

All-new glass and weather seals have been added to reinvigorate this ride against elements from earth and sky, while PPG Custom Paint and newly constructed, exclusive bumpers bolster the vehicle’s exterior look. Restored Bronco side-badging with red bucking horse logo also pops.

Retro-licious

Velocity Restorations has imbued the vehicle’s metalwork in either black or chrome, with much of it having that slightly ribbed billet aluminum look and feel for a more cohesive look. The cockpit’s new gauges are clear and appropriately retro. While this Bronco’s interior is a far cry from what one would have found in an original from this era, it’s reimaging has a retro feel that looks and drives authentic.

Magnaflow To Go

A new 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8 more than doubling the Bronco's original horsepower, a reimagined engine that also sounds terrific thanks to a newly-implemented 3” Magnaflow performance exhaust system. Other performance perks added by Velocity’s crack team of restoration mechanics include a four-speed 4R70 transmission.
