Velocity Restorations and Roadster Shop Team up to Build Wicked Bronco
What do you get when you combine street rod style and attention to detail with a first-gen Bronco? Well, you get this amazing machine.
Making an Exception
The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association typically focuses on older cars, mostly those from the street rod era. But even they couldn't help but shine a light on this gorgeous 1976 Ford Bronco dreamed up and built by two notable hot rod shops.

Two Shops, One Idea
Velocity Restorations and the Roadster Shop are both very well known entities in the world of custom cars. Velocity is no stranger to Broncos either, building some of the baddest restomods on the planet.

Coming Together
The idea came about when the two companies were talking during the 2017 Goodguys Nashville Nationals. At the time, Roadster Shop was wanting to develop a complete chassis for the early Bronco. Meanwhile, Velocity had a customer's build that just rolled into the shop. It was a match made in heaven.

Put the Power Down
Thus, Velocity immediately got to work tearing this Bronco down to its last bolt. And they certainly didn't go soft on the powertrain, opting for a Whipple supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote developing 525 horsepower at the wheels.

Hog Wild
They went hog wild on the interior as well, covering most everything in soft custom leather. The updated dash now holds modern digital gauges, new switches, and a Vintage A/C setup.

Nicely Integrated
There's also a barely noticeable roll cage, Kicker stereo system, Steer Clear offset steering coupler, and Ididit column present, all of which do a great job integrating modern components without sacrificing the original look.

Green With Envy
To match the beautiful tan interior, the team at Velocity went with a custom PPG green on the outside, which covers every exterior panel. There's also a subtle gold stripe that adds a nice touch of contrast.
