1. Raising the Bar

As more and more builders look to make a name for themselves, the degree of craziness we see in SEMA trucks slowly ticks up each and every year. So in order for established guys like Robbie Bryant, owner of KEG Media, to keep pace, they have to step up their game even more. Judging by the looks of this insane F-150 Raptor build, a Truck Trend feature build, we'd say he's doing just fine in that regard.

2. Somebody's Crazy Dream

The concept for this build is actually rather simple, believe it or not. It represents what Bryant and his crew think the Raptor should look like. Well, at least in his crazy dreams, anyway. Together with the team at Five-R Trucks, Bryant amazingly managed to reimagine the truck over the span of only three months. And they began, of course, on the outside.

3. She's Got the Look

The team began by installing Baja fiberglass bedsides and fenders from Addictive Desert Designs. Then they added bumpers, rock sliders, and a rack, also from A.D.D. Next, prodigious amounts of Rigid lighting illuminates things, and a one-off "Rapture" grille and custom badges announce the truck's true intentions. The whole thing was then finished off with a matte Grigio and Brushed Bronze Avery Dennison Wrap from Impacted Wrap for a truly unique look.

4. Well Sprung

Of course, a truck like this has to look great. But it also has to have the goods underneath if it wants to compete in today's custom truck scene. Rapture does just that, sporting a fully custom Bulletproof Suspension with Icon coilovers and reservoir shocks. Total lift measures in a 12 inches, with Atlas rear leafs out back. The whole underside was then, of course, powder coated to match the rest of the truck. To wrap up the imposing look, a set of 24x14 American Force Fuse wheels wrapped in 40-inch Toyo Open Country MT tires went on.

5. Properly Motivated

To counteract the added weight of all those goodies, the Rapture's Ecoboost engine received a number of upgrades to boost power. Walsh Motorsports and Elite Tuning installed a host of go-fast goodies, including Precision Turbos and an AFE intake, exhaust, and FMIC. The whole thing was then tuned to perfection. The result? A cool 515 dyno-proven horsepower.

6. Custom, Exotic Interior Touches

Lest you think the interior was left alone, think again. Gone are the factory seats, replaced by a custom-built set by Alea Leather with laser etching, embossing, and perforations. The seatbelts were also custom made from exotic Amaretto and black leather. P3 Cars provided a digital retrofit boost gauge, and extra bass comes from a Kicker Soundgate enclosure.

7. The Stereotypical, Non-Typical Build

It's nothing new to see a wild custom truck thrown together in an incredibly short time period. But Rapture stands as an amazing creation, one that shouldn't have been possible to dream up in three weeks, let alone build. Which, of course, comes from years of experience that only the best custom truck designers can draw from. After all, if they don't produce year after year, they won't be around for long!
