Super Duty Looks to Change the Game With a $100,000 Price Tag
For the 2018 model year, Ford has decided to bring a truck to the market that is fit for a rugged personality that also enjoys some fancy vintage wine. Check out the Super Duty Limited.
A pickup fit for Dynasty
With Ford pickup trucks steadily rising prices over the years, we've finally come to the point that there is a model that hits six figures. The Blue Oval brand reached the conclusion that this could work by successfully selling $70,000 Super Duty Platinum trims for so long that they figured why not make another model even fancier? The 2018 Super Duty Limited 4x4 will start at $87,100 and then pop up to $94,455 full optioned. So take that number and now add in title, taxes, and fees and your bank account is now looking at a vehicle that is second in price to the Ford GT supercar.

Who is this for?
What makes it different?
So I know that you're wondering what exactly comes on this luxurious trim of truck? Well, there will be two-tone leather seats, leather steering wheel, armrests, and instrument panel, a suede headliner, classy ash wood trim. and of course special badging. On the exterior, there will be a variant chrome grille, LED lights, and a chrome tailgate piece. With a 360-degree camera, you'll be able to spot all the lesser vehicles and common folk who will be around the truck awestruck by how magnificent it is.

The vehicle for the humble yet rich
It may not have a fiber optic headliner like a Rolls Royce Wraith but the truck does have a very Porsche -like Panoramic moonroof. For safety, the top shelf F-Series will get lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. To keep its occupants comfortable during various temperatures, there are both heated and ventilated front seats while the rear seats will, sadly, just receive heat.

I guess I need to start playing the lottery
While the new trim of this truck is luxurious for sure, Ford did make it capable as hell because it is still bad ass as all hell. Think about how nice you'll be feeling when you are sitting in a truck that has some of the best luxury and technology features while also having the capability to tow more than 30,000 pounds. The Super Duty Limited comes with a 6.7-liter V8 diesel engine under the hood to power the posh pickup with 440 horsepower and 860 lb-ft of torque.
"We created this new truck to answer the call for even more premium choices in the Super Duty range as we see more and more truck customers trending to more premium models," stated Eckert.
