Do you all approve of the changes that Ford has coming up for the new 2018 F-150? Or do you prefer this year's model?
1. New Smart Cruise Control
For 2018 the F-150 will get a smart adaptive cruise control with enhanced active safety features, which is a simple way of saying it can autopilot itself during normal cruising. However, this feature is an option so that those who have no need for it, or have no trust that your F-series won't go full HAL 9000 on you, don't have to buy it. The system will be good enough that if need be, it can bring your truck to a complete stop to prevent a collision. For those who may get distracted by being in the big city, you can breathe a sigh of relief that the system thankfully also detect pedestrians now.

2. New Headlight Design
Another change is an updated look to the headlights that show off Tron-ish LED accent lights that outline the high-and-low beams separately. The middle line in the number 3 headlights (once you see it, you'll always see it) is the nifty new turn signal light.

3. Revised Grille
The new grille takes notes from the version that the Super Duty rocked in the lineup since last year. There will be several variations of this new grille that will denote different trim levels on models, but all of them are awesome.

4. New Engine Options
This could very well be the only change that some prospective truck owners actually care about, and that's what's new under the hood. For the first time in Ford's 1/2-ton class, you will now have the option of a diesel, a turbodiesel 3.0-liter Powerstroke V6. There will also be a new 3.3-liter V6 base engine, the revised EcoBoost 2.7 and 3.5-liter V6 motors, and an NA 5.0-liter V8 all with more power/torque than before.

5. Luxury Stereo System
The fancy pants upper-tier trim levels can enjoy their favorite playlists or podcasts courtesy of a new to the series, Bang & Olufsen Stereo System. The brand is known as an option in high end European luxury cars and will now be featured in the American workhorse truck.
