1. Wifi Capabilities

To end this generation with a bang, Ford equipped the new Explorer with Wifi. The Wifi can connect up to 10 devices, which is Ford's response to Chevy putting it in all their cars. Best of all, the Wifi can be used from outside of the car, up to 50 feet away.

2. The Safe and Smart Package

When it comes to safety, the new Ford Explorer does not come up short. The Explorer is equipped with a package called "Safe and Smart," a package infested with safety features, making this SUV as safe as any other competitor on the market. The package includes features like front collision warning with emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitor, lane keeping assist, and finally, rear cross-traffic warning.

3. The Heart of the Explorer

When it comes to power, Ford would rather make you choose what you want. The 2018 Ford Explorer comes with three engine options: a turbocharged 2.3-L V-4 engine, a 3.5-liter V6 motor, and a vicious twin-turbo V6 engine, making this SUV as efficient as you want it to be, or as powerful as you need it to be.

4. The Facelift

From the first glimpse, you may not notice any changes to the Explorer's exterior; however, as you continue looking, you will notice the new rims for the Sport model, as well as a blackout package around the vehicle, like the blacked-out grille. As for the higher trim level, the Explorer gets the chrome outfit, making it compete with the more luxurious SUVs on the market. Once you notice these small changes, you will see why they were necessary upgrades.

As far as pricing goes, there hasn't been any announcements; however, the prices are expected to stay roughly around the same as 2017, which starts at $31,660.
