Super Clean Ninth Gen

While '70s Ford trucks garner all the attention these days, we're also big fans of '90s models. And for us, they just don't get much better than a short bed, regular car, four-wheel-drive example. Especially when it's as incredibly clean as this 1993 Ford F-150 that recently crossed the block at GAA Classic Cars' fall auction.

Gorgeous Machine

Trucks of this vintage in this configuration are already pretty hard to find. Throw in the immaculate condition this '93 is in, and well, let's just say that you don't see them every day. And that's a real shame because this F-150 is utterly gorgeous to look at.

Nice Additions

But then again, it only has a certified 20k miles on the clock, so that explains a lot. The beautiful green exterior is in mostly stock condition, with shiny chrome and perfect paint. But we don't mind the addition of a 4" lift, 15" aluminum wheels, and 35" BFGoodrich tires one bit.

Perfect Stance

Those mods give this F-150 the perfect stance, in our opinion. But that's really all it needs. Otherwise, these curvy trucks are perfect as is. And this one has a lot more going for it as well, including factory power disc brakes and power steering.

No Protection

Peek in the bed, and it doesn't even look like this F-150 has ever hauled anything back there. You also won't find a spray-in or drop-in liner, either. Personally, we'd add one or the other if we were to take possession of this beauty, if for no other reason than to protect it from the elements.

'90s Luxurious

Inside, this Ford is about as luxurious as it got back in the day. There you'll find a cloth bench seat with power lumbar, power door locks and windows, cruise control, a tilt steering column, and air conditioning. Some might lament the presence of a 5-speed manual transmission, but certainly not us.

Plenty of Life

Powering this F-150 is the legendary 5.0-liter V8, which offers up enough power and plenty of reliability in this configuration. Altogether, it's truly the perfect truck of this vintage, one that obviously has a ton of life left in it if you choose to drive it on a regular basis, which is exactly what we'd do.

Future Collectible

It isn't every day that you see any truck from the '90s in this kind of condition, especially a short 4x4 model. But we imagine that as older Ford trucks begin to get priced out of the range of most folks, more and more will appear. So if you're a fan of '90s Fords like we are, now might just be the perfect time to snag one.
