Far End of the Spectrum
Restoration is a broad term. It can mean something as simple as a respray or re-covering the seats and throwing in some new carpet. Or, on the other side of the spectrum, it could mean replacing or shining up every single nut and bolt on a vehicle. But we can safely say this stunning 1952 Ford F2 we spotted over at Auto Barn Classics falls under the latter.
Expensive Proposition
It isn't often you see vintage heavy-duty trucks in this kind of condition. That is mainly because restorations of this quality cost a lot of dough. But this one-owner F2 has been given an extraordinary amount of attention in every corner.

Better Than New
Thus, this immaculate restoration took place way back in 2005. It doesn't seem like the truck's been driven much since then, judging by the fact that it's still in perfect condition. The result of those efforts is probably the nicest 1952 F2 you'll ever see, certainly better than anything that ever rolled off the assembly line.

Flawless Paint
The paint is, of course, the original Meadow Green color. But this time around, it's been laid down via a two-stage process. Despite its age, the condition of the paint can certainly be classified as flawless.

Restored With Care
Careful attention was paid to ensure that this truck retained all of its originality. The off-white accents, trim, and chrome are all correct and essentially perfect.

Like 1952 All over Again
The same goes for the interior. The original bench seat was re-covered in period correct gray cloth with vinyl trim. The dash and gauges present as new. The only real deviation here is an AM radio from a '52 Ford sedan, which virtually no one would ever notice.

Clean Plate
Lift the hood, and you'll find a rebuilt 239 cubic-inch Flathead that looks clean enough to eat off of. It's backed up by a floor-mounted 3-speed transmission, though the original 4-speed with a granny gear comes along with the truck.

Fair Weather Cruiser
Even the undercarriage of this old Ford is essentially immaculate. It's pretty clear that this F2 hasn't seen any dirt roads or rain since its restoration was completed. And judging by how good it looks, who can fault that decision?

Cargo Free
The same goes for the gorgeous wood bed, which has nary a scratch from loading cargo in it. The refreshed woodwork is truly a sight to behold, all by itself.

Pure Perfection
The painted wheels with Ford caps and trim rings are also wrapped in period-correct tires. This completes a nearly perfect package, and most certainly one of the nicest, if not the nicest, '52 F2s you'll ever see!
