If You Have Hollywood Cash, Then Buy an Early Bronco
Daily Slideshow: Classic Broncos aren't getting any cheaper so if you have Hollywood money then why not grab one?
Not Even a Little Inconspicuous
If you were an A-list actor, the lead singer of a platinum record selling rock band, and the focal point of posters in teenage girls' bedrooms everywhere, you'd probably want to lay low during your daily commute. Los Angeles is littered with paparazzi and common sense would dictate ownership of a silver Mercedes, a black Prius, or even a Kardashian-styled G-Wagen. 30 Seconds to Mars lead singer Jared Leto rejects all of your expectations and instead chooses to daily drive this flashy first-generation Ford Bronco.
View from the Top
The Academy Award-winning Leto was born in Louisiana and was raised in various parts of the US before later moving to Los Angeles. He came to notoriety after appearing on the TV series My So-Called Life and has various movie and TV credits to his name. His most successful venture is perhaps his role as the lead singer of the alternative rock band 30 Seconds to Mars. Here, the frontman's Bronco is pictured in the hills of Southern California. His first generation Bronco stands out from the pack thanks to a custom paint job fitted with flames, a black roll cage, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. Although Leto's Bronco is probably a Pavement Princess, it's nice to know he's covered for the light Southern California winters and sandy beaches of Malibu. Tucked away in the bed area is a blue bottle that looks suspiciously similar to those filled with nitrous oxide.

Wild Paint Job
Over the years we've seen Leto change his appearance for various movie roles. He famously lost 25 pounds to play a drug addict in Darren Aronofsky's "Requiem for a Dream". he gained 60 pounds to play John Lennon's murderer Mark David Chapman in the movie "Chapter 27", and won an Oscar for his role as a transgender woman in "Dallas Buyers Club". The point is, Leto isn't afraid to go all out when it comes to his appearance for a movie role. His Bronco follows suit and wears a wild, if not untamed, paint job. The vibrant blue paint matched with yellow, orange, and red stripes hearkens back to the fads of the late 60's and early 70's when the Bronco was at the height of its powers. The white paint on the lower part of the hood pulls all the colors together.

Attention Magnet
Leto's Bronco tries to dial in a little bit of functionality with a winch bolted to the front bumper. A push bar also adds to the off-road prowess of Leto's Bronco. Custom flared fenders, diamond plate rocker panels (pun intended), and unique hood scoop are other notable styling factors. If Leto's goal was to attract paparazzi, I'd say he's done an excellent job.

Perhaps a Suggestion for the Future
Mr. Leto, if you're out there reading this, I have one minor suggestion. Sometimes less is more. Might I humbly suggest giving Jonathan Ward at Icon 4x4 a call? He is a maestro in the subtle and functional style. He'd be the perfect mad scientist to give your cherished Bronco a "make-under". I really feel it would ease the stress of paparazzi following you constantly and maybe quell the shouting of some who would call your current Bronco "a bit douchey."
