Hennessey VelociRaptors 6x6 is Perfect for Christmas
Brown Lee Ford offers 1 of 7 limited edition Hennessey Velociraptors for customers who want a little something extra for a pickup.
Breaking New Ground
Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) has taken the Ford Raptor to a new plateau. The six-wheel drive, 600 horsepower reincarnation of the Raptor is an absolute beast. Brock Patterson, the National Specialty Vehicle Sales Director for Brown Lee Ford of Morrison, Tennessee emphasized the truck’s impact on the automotive community. “The Ford Raptor itself has become an icon over the last ten years. It caught the world by storm and nothing else compares to it,” Patterson said.

Evolution of Performance
The impressive horsepower and vehicle performance made the truck an obvious choice for a specialty conversion vehicle. Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) of Sealy, TX, a world-class automotive performance company has produced a six-wheel drive, 600 horsepower Velociraptor. Among the truck’s special features, which include an additional axle, is an upgraded twin-turbocharged engine. “The stock Raptor is pushing 450 horsepower. The Velociraptor is 600 horsepower, that’s a twenty-five-percent upgrade,” Patterson said.

Ready for the Wild
The 6X6 is ready to dominate whatever terrain it takes on. Patterson explained that the VelociRaptor four-door truck inherits all of the advantages found in the Ford Raptor. “You still have full use of all of the Raptor components like driver assist technology. You have the ability to put the vehicle in different modes. These modes basically do three things; they change the throttle response, the steering and the braking,” Patterson said. The truck has a four-inch-lift, 37-inch-tires, 20-inch wheels and gold powder coated Brembo Brakes. “The Brembo Brakes add an element of stopping power and a final touch to make it stand out,” Patterson said.

A Different Kind of Animal
The Velociraptor, like the Raptor, gives the driver the ability to switch driving modes to engage whatever terrain the vehicle is taking on. Patterson explained the different modes. “There’s the normal mode which is your standard driving mode. There’s sport, which revs the engine higher, and higher shifting point to go with it. That’s a really exciting mode to drive the truck in by making it run really peppy and responsive. There’s also a Snow Wet, Mud and Sand, Rock Crawl and Baja mode on tap. The truck is very intuitive to give you the best driving no matter the conditions,” Patterson said.

Rare Raptor
The limited-edition, 6X6 VelociRaptor is wrapped in black with gold for some added bling. The 6X6 Velociraptor is extremely rare with Brown Lee Ford having a certain lucky number right in their inventory. “It’s one of seven produced. The one we have is number seven and it has a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty from Hennessey. One of the reasons why we’re the exclusive Hennessey dealership is their high-quality work and unwavering support of warranty,” Patterson said. Brown Lee Ford is offering lucky number seven for the low low price of $365,595. Okay, go ahead and wipe your drink off of the computer/mobile screen and remember that this is just 1 of 7 produced models.
While that may be a huge chunk of change, but just imagine the smiles pasted on your family's faces when you pull up with this packed to the brim with presents!
