1. Anniversary Edition

The VelociRaptor 1200 F-250 was created to celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, with production capped at 250 trucks. Each example carries serialized identification, making it a commemorative limited-run model rather than a standard tuning package.

2. Stock Power, Serious Torque

Despite the aggressive name, Hennessey leaves Ford’s engine untouched. The truck retains the 6.7-liter High Output Power Stroke turbodiesel V8, producing 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft of torque, with peak torque arriving at just 1,600 rpm. The “1200” in the name refers to torque output, not horsepower.

3. Why No Engine Mods?

Hennessey chose not to modify the engine, opting instead to keep Ford’s proven diesel setup intact. As the company notes, the factory configuration already delivers massive pulling power, making drivetrain reliability a priority over chasing higher output numbers.

4. Five Inches Taller

To match its aggressive appearance with real off-road capability, the truck receives a BDS five-inch suspension lift, significantly increasing ride height and ground clearance.

5. Heavy-Duty Suspension Setup

Supporting the lift are Fox 2.5-inch coilover shocks with remote reservoirs, tuned to improve performance both on-road and off pavement. The setup aims to control the extra mass and height while maintaining comfort and durability.

6. Big Wheels, Bigger Tires

The lifted stance is complemented by 18-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch off-road tires, giving the truck a noticeably wider, tougher stance while improving traction on rough terrain.

7. Steel Armor & Carbon Trim

Standard bumpers are replaced with stainless steel front and rear units designed for durability. Meanwhile, several exterior parts switch to carbon fiber, including hood vents, fender elements, mirror caps, flares, and a tailgate panel. The carbon components are mostly visual upgrades rather than weight-saving measures on such a heavy-duty platform.

8. Extra Lighting and Utility

Practical upgrades include LED fog lights, a massive 50-inch LED light bar, and power-deployable running boards with integrated lighting, improving both nighttime visibility and everyday usability.

9. Interior Gets a Custom Touch

Inside, changes are more subtle but noticeable. The cabin features black leather and Alcantara upholstery with red contrast stitching, WeatherTech all-weather floor mats, and a numbered commemorative plaque displaying the Stars and Stripes on the center console.

10. Pricing and Availability

The conversion package itself costs $54,500, on top of the price of a Ford F-250 Lariat donor truck, which starts around $63,000–$65,000 before fees, depending on model year and destination charges. That puts total pricing near $118,000–$120,000. Buyers can order through authorized Ford dealers, and Hennessey backs the build with a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
