High Dollar Build
There was a time when we never thought we'd see folks doing nut and bolt restorations on Ford trucks from this generation, but here we are. And this '69 took a reported 1,500 man hours and $40,000 to bring back to life.

Winning at Life
On the other hand, we'd say that time and money was well spent. This '69 isn't 100% original, but it certainly looks that way to the discerning eye. And it's sure to win plenty of trophies and hearts moving forward.

Ranger Spec
The previous owner changed a few things along the way, including upgrading all the trim to Ranger spec. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Mild Build
The engine seems to be a non-original 390 as well, judging from the listing's description. They also call the mill a "mild build," with additions including an aluminum intake, cam, and ceramic-coated headers.

Rot Free
On the bright side, the listing also states that this truck's body was completely rust free to start with, so no body filler was used when restoring it. And that's pretty impressive given the number of rotted pickups out there in the world from this generation.

Welcome Upgrades
The previous owner also upgraded this truck to power steering and disc brakes, which are two things that we'd never knock folks for adding to a truck that didn't originally come with them.

Important Stuff
The important thing here is that this particular truck is a factory 4x4. And it thankfully still rides on original style wheels, which are wrapped in reproduction 9.00 x 16-inch bias-ply Superlug tires.

Leave It Alone
According to the seller, surprisingly, no work was required to make the interior perfect, either. They claim that it was in great condition as is, so they simply left it that way.
