1. Beautiful Beast

The new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is as good-looking as we all thought it would be. Aside from its great looks, the new Raptor weighs 500 pounds less than the older models, thanks to the military-grade aluminum used on its body. What does that mean for you? Better handling and gas economy, and shorter stopping distance.

2. Beauty Meets Performance

The new Raptor has special tires designed specifically for its multi-purpose use. The new tires are co-developed by BF Goodrich, and they are designed to combine off-road performance with on-road comfort.

3. Off-Roading in Comfort

The 2017 Raptor features suspension uniquely designed to complement its tires and chassis. The Raptor can perform as aggressively as ever while providing exquisite cabin comfort. Unfortunately that means taking a hot girl in a bikini for a ride along might not have the same bouncy results as before.

4. True Dual Exhaust

Most trucks have one exhaust pipe that comes out of the engine, which then splits in two. The new Raptor has two exhaust pipes coming straight from the engine, which adds to its performance, and makes it sounds even more vicious.

5. Capable Monster

The 2017 F-150 Raptor now shares a 10-speed transmission with the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. This transmission is designed by Ford and GM in a successful collaboration. The new 10-speed transmission is believed to be featured in a few cars in the near-future.

6. Well-Rounded Machine

The new Ford F-150 Raptor is completely well-rounded, and aside from its comfort, it has a driving-mode called Baja, which turns on the 4WD-high, increases throttle response, and allows the transmission to shift quicker, making it an extremely capable off-road truck.

7. Aggressive outside, smooth Inside

The interior of the Ford F-150 Raptor is not as aggressive as its exterior. In fact, it is quite luxurious. Aside from all of the advanced features the cabin is equipped with, you have the option of getting color accent package, as well as carbon fiber package.

8. The Twin Turbo

To complement its light weight, the new EcoBoost twin-turbo V-6 engine makes this truck an absolute beast. This is the same engine found in the Ford GT Supercar. The older EcoBoost engine produced 375-horsepower, so we can only imagine with this one will develop.

9. Capable Wherever

Aside from its unique suspension, tires, and the Baja driving mode, the 2017 Raptor features a Sport Mode, which sharpens the throttle response, as well as increases steering heft, which makes it perform on paved roads like a sports car. It's like Ford struck the F-150 with a lightning bolt and let this beast escape from the factory. And this monster's not afraid of fire.
